So You Want to Know More About Us?

Founded in 2011 serial entrepreneur and idea man Jani Zubkovs, Help A Local Out (HALO) is a new and upcoming social media outlet and communications service in North America. Every day, HALO brings together people that need help and people that want to offer help in any way they can.

With the slogan "Everyone Needs Help ... Sometimes" the purpose of HALO is bring together to people of like minds and projects to help each other out in the universal spirit of helping your brother. HARO serves as a social networking resource for helpers and helpees who use the service of

HALO is entirely free to both people that need help and people that want to offer help. Offering help for pay is frowned upon and those queries will be deleted. HALO is a way for people with similar interests to hook-up and help each other. Many a free project help blossom into something more -- mutual cooperation, partnerships and employment can arise from initial contact and help.

HALO is independently owned and funded -- we are NOT the "government and here to help" -- we are independent, sovereign and free individuals helping each other.

Jani the idea man behind HALO, is inspired by people's natural good instincts once you scrape away the dirty rotten facade of what is ingrained in our heads by traditional education, the biased media and even well-meaning friends and family.

After 25 years in the bar business, the last 17 owning and operating an infamous biker bar named Bonnie & Clyde’s Saloon in East Northport, NY, Jani decided that it was time for a change. Being an "idea man," Jani had a few products in the back of his mind that needed development for consumer use and pleasure. After finding evil and horned stumbling blocks along the way, Jani had a way of finding people that would help him along the way. These precious HALO wearing angels guide you in your life's quests.

Think of the old barn raising parties of years gone by. Farmer Brown's barn scorched and burned to the ground by a lightning strike, only to be rebuilt by all of Farmer Brown's friends and family. That is the spirit we are looking for here at HALO.

The reason most people are denied their dreams is because they are afraid to ask for help. Surprisingly enough, most people will say "yes" when asked "can you lend a hand." All you have to do is ask. It's as simple as that. If you don't ask, you won't get any help.

Thank You!

We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you think of HALO.

We truly did create this service to “help” you, so…if that isn’t what you’re experiencing, or you have suggestions that will help us improve your experience, we’re all ears.

We need to hear from you so we can make HALO better, and hopefully, have you love us more than you already do. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
